Multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter, Daryl James fuses heavy blues with the raw Celtic roots of his North Wales homeland. Wielding a wild array of stringed instruments and custom foot percussion, many-a-tall-tale is sparked to life through his captivating live performances.
From his humble beginnings as a factory worker and street busker, Daryl sold everything he owned and purchased his tickets to Australia, armed with little more than a guitar and the clothes on his back. 2 EP's and a critically acclaimed album later, he now has 2 international tours under his belt and has become a festival favourite, performing at Woodford Folk Festival 23/24, Agnes Water Blues and Roots 24’, Blues on Broadbeach, Bendigo Blues & Roots Festival, Nimbin Roots Fest, Wallaby Creek Festival and Kiama Jazz & Blues Fest to name a few, alongside many top acts such as Glenn Matlock (Sex Pistols), John Buttler, The SuperJesus and the Beautiful Girls. He has recently supported Ash Grunwald and performed as lead guitarist for the Nick Oliveri (Queens of The Stone Age) Australian Tour.
